I don't remember who said it, maybe it was Gilbert K. Chesterton but it goes something like this "the left have recognized the problems but their solutions are wrong"
Makeup that looks slightly different so they're going to brand it differently even though nobody but the people who watch that video will have any idea what they're trying to say with their makeup and at least a million other women, worldwide, will do their makeup in that exact way by complete accident and not trying to say anything.
Feminists: muh late capitalism down with the rich straight cis white male supremacy!
Billion dollar makeup industry: Buy makeup to trigger white males and tag it on twitter and Instagram with #StatementLook so we can track the campa-I mean, totally own us.
Feminists: *cover themselves in face paint, take 100 selfies, and virtue signal endlessly on social media*

Not only is makeup - just like looks in general - highly subjective to begin with, but the only people who will notice this stuff are people following this movement to begin with.
(Unless makeup is used for some kind of "Women's cant"...)
What we need is a dynamic sales tax which not only factors in your sex, but also things like your tomboy factor (since ladies who dress up like a dude will probably have to spend less money on fancy clothes).
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

Is the equal pay lie really the hill they want to die on? You always pay people as little as you can get away and feel comfortable with. If you offer more than the absolute minimum pay you expect a better company climate and more motivation in return. Nothing is for free.
No amount of bitching and signaling your virtue will ever change that, by the way.

If I were an employer, I probably would avoid hiring "danger aged" women. The expenses of maternity leave are ludicrous here. For a small (2-5 person) business it may be catastrophic if one employee decides to have a baby. Incoming mothers leave on maternity leave 30-50 days before the child birth (not to mention they spend much more time on (paid) sick leave than other employees before that), women have right to have 105 day long maternity leave WITH FULL SALARY (starting from the work day one). Then there are also other expenses for an employer like recruiting a replacement, replacement's work orientation etc. On top of this, being on maternity leave accumulates employees annual holiday time.
This shortcoming in our half-socialist gulag is rarely (or rather never) discussed, but instead this (several times debunked) equal pay shit is brought up in media and in public talk time after time.
