Oh yeah, I heard some things about griefers beating people up post-hunt to deny them carves. Are carves now purely cosmetic, or do they switch everyone into noclip mode?

Aren't Longswords better for tripping?

There's no reason to carve over capturing, now. Not only do you get more research points but you also get further along in the monster field guide for the specific monster you capture.

I also haven't noticed a single drop that I have to carve for.

Annoying copy protection, which among other things has been accused of shortening SSD lifespans due to excessive write operations.

Exactly what I expected from Capcom. Looks like I'm waiting this out to see if any really good mods ever get made for it.

They are still using that? Crackers can get around it pretty quickly now.

I got the feeling denuvo has some red shell like spyware qualities, they know it doesnt stop pirates yet they keep putting it in while they know it stops a percentage of gamers from buying the game. I guess theyre willing to sacrifice that for data collection.

Denuvo is only relevant for a week or so, which is enough for companies to bother. It even got entirely removed from a couple of games later on.

The main problem is that MonHun World is always online, even solo, unless you fail to connect to a room or make a private room. Even then it still checks.

Crack all you want but you still have to get beyond that in order to not be stuck in permanent single player without paying 60 bucks and supporting a release that includes cancer.
