I was never a fan of Pantera. Too slow, too grungy, too grimy. Still, bad news. I guess that's absolutely it for the band.

Then I have just the show for you. It is called Girls und Panzer.
I had to endure one episode at the last clan LAN party. I'd rather drink drain cleaner. Likely the dumbest shit I've ever seen.

Sucking dick would be less gay than watching that garbage.

Your father told me all about it. Was really distracting while I was banging your mom.

As I'm experiencing a Pantera weekend here, let me share some more of the magic of the Abbott bros.

Groovy as fuckkk. I love the little things like at 0:57 when Dimebag throws a couple Ab chords there along with shredding the E-string. Fuck yeah. The epic primitive ending stays in your head for the rest of your life once you hear it.

Maybe you should give a try to their first album Cowboys from Hell. The Art of Shredding, Heresy and Shattered are all quite fast songs. Grimy? That's the point. Grungy? I don't think so, I hate grunge. But if you can't stand the singer then there's nothing that can be done.

Magical girl opening songs?

Strength Beyond Strength captures the essence of thrash metal, it's a serious in-your-face blast of power which stomps your gut, fast and slow. What a great album opener. The dissonance in the guitar solo is so swhuiite.

You dare to mock metal, the juggernaut of masculinity? Manowar kill.

In my mission of pointing my favourite tracks on every relevant Pantera album I tried to pick some other not-so-obvious track from VDoP, but no can do, this is the ultimate Pantera song, this is the source. Simple riffs, simple lyrics, Phil "white power" Anselmo at his best, a jamming unorthodox guitar solo. Das ist perfection. If you can't handle this, walk on home, boy!
