Any succesful game reviewers or streamers that dont show their face?

Any succesful game reviewers or streamers that dont show their face?

Post by AngrySpoonySnob » Thu Apr 26, 2018 11:48 am

I always thought I could do better (as in more entertaining) than 80% of these dorks. I just dont want to put my face out there.

Id be as anonymous as possible tbh, anyone know if people have done this succesfully before?

I might try to get a gaming channel of the ground unless its basically required for you to be the face of the channel.

Vinesauce is pretty popular and at least I like his shit and think he's funny.
But then again, he has his background in radio and public access tv, so he probably knows how to talk during "broadcasting".

Also, isn't there a lot of YouTube gamers who rarely show their face if at all? Vanoss and Delirious were completely unfunny cunts who made millions of views without showing their cunty faces on screen.

Go for it.
- and that's a good thing.

There are a lot of youtube reviewers like Joseph Anderson who don't show their faces.

I think that one BUY, RENT OR SKIP guy doesn't have a face in his reviews.

Cr1tikal didn't show his face for years and never really had to. Pretty much all of the long form reviewers don't either.
If you've got something interesting or entertaining to say, nobody needs to know what you look like. It's not that interesting anyway and don't get why some people feel like they MUST know.

I got you:

Super best friends: Woolie is garbage, pat can be a big baby sometimes but matt is based, sometimes they get sucked into a game like kotor which becomes an awful train wreck, but they do have older stuff thats fun.

Jeremy Parish: Super underrated, everyone here should watch his stuff, its amazingly good

Vinny Vinesauce: Probably one of the better streamers, almost has an "ashens" level of hindsight about his streams and doesn't take things seriously, also stated he would never show his face on stream.

Snes drunk: another reviewer, focuses mostly on SNES (obviously) but does sega genesis from time to time, they are easy to digest videos usually only a few mins each.

Ross's game dungeon: Long and "plinkett" style reviews of games you probably never heard of, fuck DHI germans saying he sucks.

Dude Ross is great. He's just the right level of nostalgic, nerd, and self aware.

I like super best friends even though Woolie can be a real shit. He can be DSP-tier sometimes. I'm still mad he basically ruined Demon's Souls and then shat all over the game at the end because of the way he played it. He got carried harder than DSP and then bawwed and the end that the game was too easy. No shit it's fucking easy when someone gifts you a +10 weapon tailored to your build AND YOU THEN USE IT THE ENTIRE GAME YOU CUNT.

Then there was that time he picked blanka (his main) for an entire fisticuffs video while everyone else was playing different characters. So not only was he the most skilled player (and would have had an advantage even playing other characters), he was playing his main while everyone else was switching off. It wasn't interesting or entertaining.

Like DSP, he clearly thinks that his entertainment > making a good video at times.

He also comes out of left field with some silly SJW-light talk completely out of the blue. Plus his taste in women is garbage tier.

yeah if I ever do this Ill make sure to never mention politics or real world stuff.

I guess Id have to start with finding a good video editing program? And learn how to use the recording options in geforce experience for some gameplay footage.
