Not to mention that any "serious" moments in that one and Suburban Knights was a bit undermined by everyone cosplaying for some reason. It's like they were afraid their reviewer personalities couldn't carry the movie on their own.

Doge just needs to be funny. Demo Reel wasn't funny, while old NC had some good moments. If he made something funny then I think he'd be good. There's also the factor that he's just not on the level to make something truly great. He's like William Hung to someone like Dave Chappelle's John Lennon.

I'd say don't even try that. Instead, he should go a bit more serious. The reason I liked Kickassia back in the day was for the story. Yeah, it was a basic power corrupts thing, but it worked. Like if he made a Ghostbusters, a serious movie with comedy elements, I think that'd work better for him. The problem is, he never will because that's too much work.

Suburban Knights wasn't serious because they kept doing meta humour and pointing out the whole thing was fake. To Boldly Flee stole so much as a 'parody' that it can't be considered serious.

If he went with an original idea he might be able to make something at least watchable.

And then they got even lazier after to Boldly Flee in "The Uncanny Valley" where they stayed around their homes to film a series of videos that the Walmers wanted to follow a theme but they were so incompetent in telling the other that no one followed the stupid theme. MikeJ reviewed "The Uncanny Valley" along the three previous movies in his bad sequels review shows and he shitted all over the four movies

But it's a bit more awkward now, what with several people who played major roles in all anniversary movies now just being gone. One of the supporting cast became an hero, two others have gone trans (you know these two will make the movie extra awkward if they get anywhere close to it), and Angry Joe would probably decline because he's too important now and he'd probably make some Steven-Seagal-style demands to be filmed in such a way that he doesn't appear as fat as he actually is.
