Re: Hollywood Rape General
This is a typical liberal move. Most sexual harassment in Hollywood doesn't take place on the set. It takes place behind closed doors. These guidelines aren't going to remedy that. Instead they've got guidelines for swapping saliva or preventing 'aggressive' tongue kissing. How the fuck are you going to prevent that?

Yep, it's a complete red herring to make it LOOK like they're doing something. None of the recent scandals were about actors getting too frisky during sex scenes on camera. It was all backroom solicitations, and most of the perpetrators were producers. None of whom have actually done time in jail, and you know they're all gonna be quietly hired for jobs again once the heat is off.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 10:17 amThis is a typical liberal move. If these proposed regulations turn out to be as draconian as I think they will, animation will be the only format in which the characters can have any non-violent, physical contact.

That's it then. Blacks are cool in China now and the R-rating is the new NC-17. Movies are finished for this generation. Check in twenty years from now if the West hasn't fallen yet.
Seriously, this is like 1950s shit.

You're not even kidding. If you consider foreign films, a shit ton of amazing stuff came out from Japan in the '50s.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 5:41 amThat is definitely an insult to 50's cinema.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 12, 2018 11:46 pmThat's it then. The 1950s were when some of the Hays code shit was starting to relax. Partly bolstered by the fact that the Supreme Court said that, actually, films are expression and are therefore covered by the first amendment
