I like some rap music, but I don't like the idea of a person listening ONLY to rap music. It's a symptom of a degraded western culture. Nothing is supposed to be "beautiful" anymore, whether it's music, modern architecture, or even women.

Rap music even degraded music discussion because it used to be (might still be) common for white music snobs to regard another white person's opinion about rap as a kind of racism test. You were considered backward and closed-minded if you didn't like it. And no other music is (or should be) burdened with that.

I guarantee you that no black rap fan on Earth has ever been judged by white music dorks for not appreciating country music or metal.
