Watching the 1966 Batman show for the first time. It took about five minutes for Adam West to dethrone Michael Keaton as my favourite Batman.
Now you have to also watch all the 1970s animated stuff where West was Batman's voice.

Adam West isn't the voice in this.

Unironically yes. He's kino as always, a great Two-Face (unless you can't live without the "Big Bad Harv" voice from Batman TAS), and the way the adapted his origin story to fit the original Adam West show is hilarious.
AwesomeShow
Basically Hugo Strange shows up and tries to cure Batman's rogues gallery by extracting the evil from them. Unfortunately for him the villains decide to unleash their full power level and cause the machine to overload.

Long story short, Harve gets hit by pure evil instead of acid, which admittedly makes more sense outside of stuff like the Batman TAS continuity where Harvey was already kinda fucked up from the start.

Is the 1966 movie bad then?
Best Batman.
Best Bruce Wayne.
Best Robin.
Best Catwoman.
Best villain team-up.
Best social commentary.
Best political commentary.
Best bomb.
Best shark.
Best final brawl.

The only reason to not watch it is because it will forever tarnish your enjoyment of every other Batman movie that ever was and ever will be, for nothing will ever get as kino as this.

I didn't watch the 60s Batman TV series at all when I was a kid. If you were a comic book nerd in the late 80s, that show was considered the worst thing ever. "Adam West is why the mainstream doesn't take comics seriously, mAAAAAAAN!"

It wasn't until the last eight years or so that I finally saw it and I loved it. It's very funny and it holds up as refreshing today. Also it's as valid an interpretation of Batman as any other.

I watched it as a kid. It was fun entertainment and didn't take itself seriously without being "look at how wacky this is".

Why is Red Hulk debuting in a Captain America of Color movie again? Did they already run out of Captain Burger villains?
