What a surprise. A prequel about not-"Mad Max" (with a vagina) underperforming? It's almost like the public at large didn't give much of a damn to begin with. Their attempts at replacing a legacy character will be in vain.
The common shill defense will go "It's the economy's fault," even though that's only part of the larger issue. Normies aren't going to line up for yet another stronk womyn slopfest about dehumanizing le ebil white men after several years of this accumulated shite. There are better things to do.

She's a perfectly fine character and it's very likely to be a perfectly fine movie. It's under-performing because there's not much need for a prequel to Fury Road, but it's so not even worth complaining about.

Supposedly the movie is decent and/or better than Fury Road.
But Fury Road sucked, no one gives a fuck about "Furiosa", and personally, even if Mel Gibson was the protagonist, i'd rather watch Fist of The North Star or play Road Warrior.

Millers last movie flopped, too. He likely took too long to make a proper sequel to mainline Mad Max.

Watched it I thought it were pretty good. Hemsworth was a fun baddie and Furiosa wasn’t an annoying Girlboss but am sure the Critical Drinker and his ilk will say she is one.

Overall not as good as Fury Road and I would’ve prefered a proper Mad Max film but for what it is I liked it.

I've seen a video from Knights Watch and another guy from that group (don't ask me who) and they both said that the movie isn't woke and that the protagonist is the opposite of the Pedowood girl boss - she's supposedly relatable, she endures hardships and in the end she's a survivor rather than a winner.
I'm not going to watch the movie simply because i don't care about the Mad Max ip anymore, just like i haven't watched Featherwoman VS Predator not because supposedly the fight scenes are as plausible as this:



But simply because i'm done with shitty Predator movies.
