Don’t get me wrong, Bibleman is some hilarious shit, but Brad doesn’t have what it takes to cover a series like that, let alone the trove of other weird shit you listed. I remember he’d do polls and have cool shit like Madman, then shit the bed with some troll drama movie.Moe Bitches wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 3:51 amYeah, like how shit like the Buttercream Gang was hyped up, then the review turned out to be as white bread the movie itself.
Honestly, sometimes I do go to Internet Archive and watch his past videos, and I make sure to skip those. The porno, exploitation, snuff and horror reviews were the only worth while things to look at.
But really, there's a lot of shit he did that was forgettable, especially in the later years. White bread Christian/Christmas movies, the series of Friends videos, the Sex in the City shit, even something like Windy City was fucking boring.
Again, there is funny shit out there that didn’t fit his old criteria, but it worked better when he did Midnight Screenings. Tyler Perry’s Acrimony is fucking batshit hilarious, but it works better as a reaction movie rather than a Snob episode, same with the Oogie Loves. I’d rather watch Double Toasted cover those type of things. Meanwhile I’m still waiting for Brad to cover classics like Dario Argento’s Phenomena, it’s retarded that he just now covered Terror Train.
A newer reviewer that is doing both old and new content is Andy the Maniacal Cinephile. He started with Boots to Reboots, a series where he tackled remakes and decided whether they were good or not. But he expanded to talking about other horror flicks while staying in character. He’s one of the few reviewers I can think of who can pull off sketches and not hitting peak autism. More are out there and eventually all Brad will have left are his devoted cucksons as the rest move on to bigger and better things.
