I especially loved the whole drama surrounding the election for the president of the European Commission. None of the yokels they paraded around as candidates actually made it because of some pissing contest. Then God-Empress Merkel just deported Ursula von der Leyen to Brussels after she had fucked up the Bundeswehr enough.

They just love devolving into some clusterfuck as the individual leaders panic in the face of Covid and just start doing their own thing.

Is Europe worse than a Muslim-conquered hellscape where royals and television stars rape and murder children? Because that's what comes to mind when I think of Europe.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 8:25 pmApparently, EU bureaucrats aren't very efficient.
How could THAT happen?! They're ("supposedly") competent!

No, that's just what it will eventually turn into. The EU is so incredibly inefficient that it can't even pozz the continent in a timely manner.

Remember everyone, it was Trump, and ONLY Trump, that got so many Americans killed. Every other country handled it perfectly but he fucked it all up. Not the CDC, not Fauci, not the FDA stopping effective treatments, only Drumpf. It's like all the people who were warning about this in January 2020 didn't even exist, there was no way governments could have prepared for it until March.Le Redditeur wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 8:25 pmApparently, EU bureaucrats aren't very efficient.

Never has been. They just acted like they did to lord over people.

We'll eventually, maybe in 20 years but eventually, get the real numbers on covid in China. Even Japan, so often held as the paragon of masks, has had covid numbers go up and down, up and down. Despite the "superior culture" and "masks everywhere" that pro-lockdowners like to claim. "Well we could stay open too if we were all nice like the Japanese." In addition to fetishizing Japs, that's not even true. Japanese are more polite only on a surface level. They're extremely racist by US standards and they give NO fucks about foreigners or any non-japanese. They didn't lock down because they don't have 100,000 woketards in position of power.

That politeness is culturally enforced, it's not because they are just like that. If they actually say how they feel they will be shunned by everyone, in a few Asian cultures there is a phrase that says "Don't be the nail the sticks out". Individuality and expression must be crushed for conformity.rabidtictac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 3:45 amJapanese are more polite only on a surface level. It's why guys going over to Japan have to be real damn careful when dating Japanese women. I'm not saying they are conniving bitches or anything even though Gaijin Hunters are a thing, but they will appear to be perfect girlfriends even though they make take months to show you their real personality and they likely won't show that side of them in public. You may like their real personality or you may hate it, but don't think the girl you met will be the same in 3 months.
Shit like this is why they kill themselves so damn often. And the HikkiNEETs are the way they are for different reasons than in the West, over their they are so damn harsh with the Tiger Mom style parenting that if they fail in high school they are shunned and hated by everyone, even their families, and become miserable shut ins. In the west it's because of single mothers and divorce and the lack of standards rather than too strict.
As for the racism, I'm not linking the video because it's "Buzzfeed Japan" but they had a 100% huwhite girl who was born and raised in Japan compared with a Japanese girl who was born and raised in France, despite the white girl acting like a typical Jap and seeing herself as Japanese she was never accepted. She even struggles to get fucking bank loans, while the French-Jap was treated way better. Culture doesn't mean shit to them.
Also despite the HikkiNEET meme most Japanese people are constantly outside. It's why handheld gaming has been bigger over there compared to consoles for well over a decade and why the Arcades took longer to die (I think mobile has killed them). If they lockdown it will fuck their entire way of life. They didn't lock down because they don't have 100,000 woketards in position of power.

Reminder that the Japanese still feel THEY were the real victims in WW2. They have taken little/no responsibility for their war crimes. Meanwhile, the US is still castigating itself for slavery, a crime for which it was not even close to the sole culprit and which took place much further in the past.

That comes from their samurai. If you were samurai and you failed the master, you had to kill yourself. If you didn't kill yourself, you became ronin and were looked upon with scorn.
It's still pervasive in the culture. It's absolutely incredible.
The US also treated their slaves much better than the Japanese treated Allied POWsrabidtictac wrote: ↑Thu Mar 18, 2021 4:31 amMeanwhile, the US is still castigating itself for slavery, a crime for which it was not even close to the sole culprit and which took place much further in the past.
