That was the big problem with CA and their hanger on producers. Not how mean Machaud was but literal delusion on how important they were. Thinking they are hot shit even though their shit is garbage and no one actually liked them. That's why no one watches their shit and other non-CA content creators have left them in the dust

They got caught up in the excitement of the time, that there's a new entertainment media outside of cable TV only they didn't see what the future would bring which is corporations popping up safe and charismatic/attactive people to take over the new medium and make them money. Just like with punk rock.

There is nothing more undignified than a grown-man begging for attention, or even worse, whining about how he's not taken seriously.

Me, I make things for the internet, too. I put things out there that I worked hard on and that I then promote modestly (once on my own social media account and once in a relevant Facebook group that I'm in and that's IT). Sometimes I get a great response, sometimes I may as well be pushing Covid-infected candy corn. It happens. And it's okay if you love what you're doing.

If you have serious ambitions of winning the internet stardom Special Olympics, fine, but whining isn't going to help.
