Pretty much. That guy always came off as an arrogant asshole anyway, like he played it for laughs but I think it was close to his real self.

RLM made me realize something about that Borat sequel. In the first one, Borat's ignorance leads people into exposing their true selves. In the sequel, it's literally just Orange Man Bad. First movie is sort of dated with some of its topics but it manages to be pretty stay timeless. Like I said before, the first movie had little or nothing to do with current politics. This shit however? A product of its time. The first one could've bombed hard on Bush but it didn't.

The only somewhat funny parts included "baby inside me" and "stupid foreign reporter".

I looked at the sequel again and it was worse the second time around. It was predictable, heavily edited, had these really bad emotional scenes, the jokes were really lazy, just not funny.

It just felt rushed (which is is) and the more "cinematic" feel just ruins it, especially since it's a mockumentary. Imagine if they used the same camera from all those years ago?
