Is your xbox modded and played from the hard drive? Because that would explain why you haven't had the disc drive fuck up. Although why the components haven't melted yet I'm not sure. I've heard that happens also with og ecksbawks.

Nope. The one of my friend was. I never got around to mod mine. Again, the OG Xbox being a problem child is news to me. Maybe the Euro ones were more stable or I was just lucky.

Now watch me eventually dig it out of storage and find out it broke.

So I’ve been playing some old games and going to gamefaqs for walkthroughs, god I forgot what a bunch of self important pussies half the authors were. Here’s some great experts.
If you want to get in touch with me about this guide, ask questions, ask to
use it elsewhere etc. then follow the following guidelines. I will
mercilessly delete any and all junk that does not follow the following
rules.

* First up, read the walkthrough. If I haven't answered your problem in
either the Main Walkthrough or the Puzzle Guide, then send me an e-mail.
Don't get upset if I don't respond - I'll try, but if it's a good question
I'll answer it in a guide update. So check back often.

* Secondly, praise me as much as you want, I won't guarantee to answer
you. Although ego-gratification is nice, I'll still delete it when the ego
rush is over. Same goes for flames - I'll laugh at the usually pathetic
spelling and poor grammar, but it's destined for the bin and you know it.

* Thirdly, as obvious as it sounds, please type in proper English. I don't
do AOL Speak, 1337-speak or shorthand. I dismiss these instantly. If
English is not your first language, then please do your very best and
state that English is not your first language, I am very forgiving in that
regard. Just if your language is AOL or 1337, or endless shorthand, I kind
of pity you.

* Don't use my mail address to send me ANYTHING. I have a spam filter in
both my e-mail program and my e-mail hosting, and I'm not afraid to use
them! Don't waste my time.

* If you want to use this guide on your site, then please e-mail me with
details of the site, where it will be uploaded and your general comments
(all are very appreciated, I try to do my best in these guides!). I will
respond back within 24 hours. That is a promise. On the same note, people
who upload this guide to their site without giving me due notice, credit
or worse, neither of those, will be asked to remove it within 24 hours.
I've done it before and I won't hesitate to do it again. Failure to comply
will mean I take legal advice, and get in touch with your host/ISP if
possible. In brief, I will make your life a living hell. Don't do it.

* Finally, I know I have other walkthroughs on the internet from days long
past, and the memories are warm and fuzzy. But for the most, I no longer
own/play those games, and while I understand one or two might want to ask
questions on older guides, I'm afraid I won't be doing that. I apologise
for such an inconvenience, but I like to play through a game and know
where the problem lies - if I can't do that, I can't help you much I'm
afraid.

OK, with that out of the way...

webmaster (at) projectkami (dot) com

I DO WANT:
* Any in-game glitches, bugs, or anything else which might seem odd.
* Any noticeable easter eggs.
* Any more noticeable references to other games.
* Anything I may have missed - secret items, hiding spots etc.
* Your own enemy-beating strategies!

I DO NOT WANT:
* Anyone correcting spelling. First, I'm British and second, I DID study
English Language at A-Level. This guide was rushed, I admit, so I'm now
correcting spelling as I go.
* Spam e-mail of flames/praise. I appreciate that you may like/not like
this guide, but unless you have something you wish to contribute, I would
kindly ask you not to fill my inbox with that kind of thing.
* Any e-mail in all caps. You know who you are...
* Anyone asking me to send them a copy of the game. No. No. And again, NO!
This is for the game Haunting Ground. Apparently the user above is no longer active, I hope he’s dead or something.

The next is a female user (go figure) getting assmad about sexy costumes. Guess she doesn’t realize that women, especially Japanese ones, are also massive sex perverts.
FIONA A - The costume that Daniella lays out for you
at the beginning of the game.
How to get - Default costume.

FIONA B - The costume that Daniella lays out for you
at the beginning of the game, only Fiona
has her hair down and is barefoot.

How to get - Finish the game once.

UNDER THE SCALPEL - Finish the game once.

FIONA THE FROG - Fiona is in a Frog outfit. When she
crouches, instead of kneeling she does
a froggish sitting position. Also, she
loses less energy when backstepping.

How to get - Get ending C.

ILLEGAL IN SOME STATES - Fiona is dressed up in some slutty,
revealing leather thing, complete
with a whip (instead of the kick
action). Well, I guess you need
SOMETHING in a game to amuse the
men...

How to get - Finish the game once.

TEXAS COWGIRL - Another excuse for the men at Capcom to drool
other than over-doing the physics on her boobs...
Fiona's hair is down, and she has a cowgirl hat,
a bra with the whole USA flag pattern on it and
trousers which show her underwear. I use the
term "costume" here rather loosely... She's not
really wearing anything at all. But she has a gun,
which is slow and useless unless your enemy stays
still, but I guess it satisfies the men.

How to get - Get ending A.
She also had a hall of fame THAT. SHE. NO. LONGER. UPDATES! Her thank you list is also embarrassing, I hope her engagement broke off and she’s fat and alone for calling waifu panic goddess Fiona stupid. MOM! Do my laundry! I’m writing!
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~
|WHY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!| (HG19)
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Thanks to my Mum for writing out the short notes I told her as I
played the game. Oh, and for making my dinner and washing my
clothes.

Thanks to my eldest sister Lara for writing out short notes I told her
whilst my Mum made dinner and washed my clothes.

Thanks to my fiancé, Jed, for generally being there.

Thanks to my friend Tomm for testing this walkthrough for me.

Thanks to Capcom for another smashing game.

Thanks to Hewie for saving Fiona when she was being too stupid to
protect herself.
I use them for older games, but forgot how much I hate Gamefaqs. I remember getting banned for calling a mod a mall cop and then again for asking a tranny what their ranting had to do with anything when they’re were whining that they missed bishonen Raiden from MGS2 and kept talking about being a tranny and shit.

This is why I like DHI, it’s a man’s forum. You got a problem with someone? Call them a faggot, don’t cry to a mod. It’s like the days when dueling was permitted. #legalizedueling

I shamefully have to admit that I still have one memento from the Gamefaqs forums: a spreadsheet to calculate stats growths for characters in Breath of Fire III - complete with the option to assign Masters and their respective stats modifiers at each level, to min-max the shit out of that game. I even made a correction in the spreadsheet's internal coding so it would work with OpenOffice, and sent it to the original author as a contribution (he never answered though). Pure, concentrated autism.

Who else but an autist would take the time to make an elaborate game guide and not get paid for it.

This is why I instinctively block out any part of a gamefaq that is not about the actual game.

Same, those updates that read like a livejournal page are embarrassingly retarded. Thankfully most modern ones don’t have all of that crap and use HTML for quick access.

And damn, I didn’t know Breath of Fire III was that complex.

It really isn't, if you're not autistically trying to min-max everything. The only reason to do so is if you want to farm Berserker and Archmage, and even so every strategy for it basically boils down to "have Ryu to Focus + Aura to dish insane amounts of damage".

If I ever try FF 7 & 8 again, I'll have to use it. I could never get past the beginning of the final discs.

Good thing the remake doesn't even cover the first disc then :3
