Another great day of SGDQ. Love watching my childhood games get destroyed. Money goes to save the animal, donate the donation.

Hey guys, long time viewer, first time runner. It gives me great joy to kill to a great cause. Greetings from animal. PS: view the cancer, save the games.

Honk honk honk honk honk honk honk honk! Honk honk honk honk honk honk. Honk honk. Honk honk honk honk honk honk honk honk? Hoooooonnnnnnnnkkkkkk!!!

(Not entirely sure if these count as English )

Semi-random complaint: I don't follow speedrunning very closely, but boy am I starting to miss the days when I could check out the latest record in [whatever] without having a corner of the screen jammed up with the runner's Twitch chat blowing up with stupid animated emotes and "I WAS HERE I WAS HERE I AWS HERE I WSA HERE" and shit.

I can understand them streaming their attempts. I guess it's not as boring for them and they can make money during them. But yeah, as somebody that just wants to watch a world record it's annoying.

That's why I liked the speed running archives back in the day.

I think some categories in some games even require WR attempts to be streamed with hand-cam and shit for verification purposes. I vaguely remember having seen some people put up two versions of some videos; one with the whole stream setup, one with just the captured game footage, or one with runner commentary and one without. Kinda wish that were the standard, rather than just slapping the whole thing onto YouTube.
