You do you hate everything that you don't understand?

Phil Lamar played Samurai Jack, thereby "taking away" a role from a Japanese person. But it's only bad when white men do it.

Typical baka gaijin cartoon VA, ignoring the superiority of Japanimation once again. How droll

Re: "Cartoons"
Maybe he caught the woke or not. It's weird he says that now with that new Samurai Jack game as there's no fucking way they are really going to dub over his few lines. Plus I think (or hope at least) he means that you shouldn't use him as an example among the others. It's not like he said that he was stepping down. So people really shouldn't blame him unless of course he straight up says it.
Don't these people understand that the entirety of the Simpsons is just a big walking stereotype that would be cancel cultured?

Re: "Cartoons"
Maybe I'm misreading the tweet but the way Phill wrote it is that he's sitting out of this madness. Hence the "keep my name out of your fucking mouth" as in to not use his name or opinion for a looney cause that is certain to backfire.

Re: "Cartoons"
They had a literal '70s black stereotype in one of those samurai jack cartoons. He didn't have a problem with it back then.

And it was voiced by, oh no, two black guys?!?!?
He shouldn't have a problem with it.
Hopefully he doesn't end up like Issac Hayes.

Beavis and Butthead is being rebooted for Comedy Central. I can't imagine how much of a fucking disaster this will be.

Re: "Cartoons"
I mean no one brings up that Beavis and Butthead revival from a couple of years ago.
Aside from how modern Mtv sucks ass and had to replace most of the music videos, it was actually really decent. That crying episode was one of my favorites. I was not crying!
Anywho it's probably one of the best revivals you could have. It keeps the spirit of the original but in modern times.
Animation talk in 3...2....1
But as long as it doesn't end up like Crank Yankers I would watch it. I can't remember much from the original CY in the first place except for Jim Florentine, but I watched just a few minutes of the new one and it's dog shit.

SpoilerShow
Even the animation is the same, perhaps even worse at times.
You can tell by the movement that it was animated by Film Roman as it looks more like the digitally inked episodes of King of the Hill.
But unlike those it has that weird head shrink movement when they talk that was done in some old cel animated cartoons like KotH, Simpsons and even B&B.
I watched the show many years ago on MTV 2 along with Ren and Stimpy iirc.
