My boss is surprisingly happy with the business, so I guess the worst of the crisis is over for us. They're also going to be paying all the extra hours we did during the Chicom Flu (not only going forward), during the next months, which will be a nice boon to fix some stuff around the house that is breaking.

Also there's a nice, comfy rain falling right now, which means I'll sleep listening to it this night. At last, a good friday!

Welp my unemployment was finally pushed through, cleared nearly $2000 from the 3 weeks I was waiting and I can still continue to work with what I'm doing. Best part is they take the taxes out already so I don't even have to worry about that next year.

Decided to buy a arcade legends ultimate machine with part of my money, I don't know fuck all about building nor do I want to collect arcade cabinets so it's a great middle ground. It's also super easy to add your own games and I can't wait to get it.

Don't click the video I'm just showing that it will emulate almost anything, I guess it even has steam integration where you can stream games to it if you really want. Granted you can't emulate stuff where a second control stick would be necessary but I know it can use controllers, but then that defeats the purpose.

This thing puts places like arcade 1up to shame where all you will do is have your machine collect dust because it only comes with 3 games.

I had a dream I was in some beach house. Suddenly, a massive storm came along and a giant wave ripped the house from it's posts and carried it away, mostly trashing it in the process and carrying it out onto the stormy sea. Pretty fun and exciting dream and for once one where my car doesn't get destroyed or stolen.
