Also, No Time to Die is included even though it hasn't come out yet.
On number two no less. Totally a merit-based list, guys.
Maybe he's secretly based and making a commentary on how Bond has been supplanted by random ethnic females in his own movie series.

There are some good female lead action movies like Shurayukihime, but I suppose this clown hasn't heard of them or lack taste to appreciate them.
The fucker didn't even think of Alien himself - and then put it at 66. Fucker must've chugged a nice and cold pint of paint thinner before making that list.

Just lounge around and see the horror. Only a handful that are watchable. It's imdb but whatever.
I haven't seen barely any of those movies, some are total BS like Charlie's Angels and Barb Wire, some doesn't even belong to this list (T2). There are some good female lead action movies like Shurayukihime, but I suppose this clown hasn't heard of them or lack taste to appreciate them.
Half is list is either not female-led or not action.

What makes a great horror movie? Wokeness!

Invisible Man was ass. Pure porn for girls about a billionaire tech wizard who uses his invisible suit to harass his ex because she's so special and unique and not like other girls. No real action, no nudity or sexiness at all, then she steals a suit and brutally murders her (innocent) ex husband at the end just because and it's played as this "You go girl" moment. Watch Hollow Man instead.

No Dark Universe mentioned at all.
But Gay Bowelsman said it was the best movie ever. He also said it wasn't SJW propaganda.
It's almost like the hack frauds who found TFA "great" and Daisy Ridley "charismatic as hell" don't know shit about quality.

Half a good movie, turns to shit when they hit Mexico and the vampires show up. Even by 1996 standards it fucking sucks. Rodriguez will go down as having made one really good movie (Desperado) and a ton of fuck. Some niggas just can't handle money.

Still, I miss those crazy mid-90s Miramax flicks. Everything is fucking China approved now.

Aren't most of these just in public domain.
The original novels of Dracula and Frankenstein are in the public domain, but not the Universal adaptations (despite the fact that everyone involved with making these movies is dead). If you want to use the version of the Frankenstein monster with bolts in his neck that only groans and only kills people by accident, you have to pay Universal.

If your Dracula looks too much like Bela Lugosi, his son Bela Lugosi, Jr. is a lawyer and will sue you.

While we're on the subject of the Universal monster movies; the Bela Lugosi Dracula is the most overrated of the bunch. Bela's performance is a lot of fun and the film moves at a brisk pace, but there are some bizarre plotholes (you can tell they edited it down to keep it as short as possible), the ending is anticlimactic, and some of Todd Browning's directing choices result in unintentional cheese (e.g., the scene where Dracula in bat form comes into a room; the rubber bat continuously flaps in one position). The Mummy is the worst one of the big five; it's only 71 minutes long but feels much longer than that thanks to its lethargic pacing. However, Boris Karloff does a good job, and some scenes are effectively atmospheric. Frankenstein has some unintentionally funny moments, but is overall pretty good. Bride of Frankenstein is by far the best of the bunch; its a masterpiece.
It was based on a play rather than the original book, so it's pretty understandable.

I'd say Son Of Frankenstein was the best of the Karloff films - it lacks Bride's zaniness, but the characters(Rathbone, Lugosi and the police officer) are much better than anything in Bride. It's also got some really great-looking sets.

Universal classic horrors are a lot like classic Doctor Who. 90% of the acting is shit, they’re short and cheap but the good stuff is iconic.
season 13 could literally be re-edited into Hammer horror films and nobody would tell the difference.

Yeah, the anticlimactic ending can be blamed on the play. However, the plotholes can be blamed on whoever edited it, and the unintentionally cheesy moments can be blamed on Browning. I say this because the Spanish 1931 Dracula film was shot with the exact same script as Browning's film, but it fills in some of the most glaring plotholes that are in Browning's film, and the scenes that have clunky direction in Browning's film are handled better in the Spanish film (e.g., the bat gracefully glides into the room, it doesn't just flap in one spot).

However, the Spanish film has problems of its own: the cast isn't as good as the cast in Browning's film, and whereas Browning's film never drags, the Spanish film has some pacing problems. There are a bunch of scenes in the Spanish film that could've easily been trimmed down, and there are some moments that could've been cut out entirely.

Son is good, but I think Bride has better sets and filmmaking (James Whale pulls out a lot of expressionist techniques that add a lot to the film's Gothic atmosphere) and I love its zany sense of humor. Also, Doctor Pretorius is one of the most entertaining mad scientists in the history of cinema.

Bride is funny, because it's seen as this big "gay movie" but the most blatantly camp gay character in the film is Pretorius. The villain who lures Dr Frankenstein away from his pretty young wife on his wedding night to engage in ungodly acts that parody natural procreation. In the end, the evil faggot is vaporized for his troubles and Henry goes on to knock up his wife. It's a movie about the triumph of heterosexuality. Maybe James Whales had mixed feelings about his sexual orientation or maybe he was one of those faggots who was molested as a kid (you know, like most of them) and this was a revenge fantasy against his abuser.

Either way, the Alphabet Aids Soup has latched onto this movie, claiming it as "theirs" which just goes to show how dumb and shallow these perverts really are.
