Speaking of boring movies and watchable series version I remembered the Patlabor 2 movie, shit was slow as fuck with just conversations about different kinds of keikaku going on and the last mecha action scene was short and you couldn't see nothing because it was too dark(maybe it was in my vhs copy, who knows).
