The Johnny English movies are alright - it's Rowan Atkinson doing his Bean shtick with some spy movie jokes, and that's it. Blackadder is a completely different genre of comedy and way better than anything Bean-related. It's not surprising that Atkinson has refused to do anything Blackadder-related since 1999 to avoid it being subpar whilst cranking out Mr Bean animated episodes and sketches.
