My girlfriend and I worked at the movies so there was always an empty theater to oralize in. Once went down on her right behind a group of people just for the lulz. So if you think people are sexing in the back, they are.

I had a girlfriend like that... that always wanted to fool around during movies.
I was irritated by it, I said, "I paid seven bucks* for this! I want to watch the damn movie!"

Had a theater where it was 2.50 for a small coke or drink, 1.75 for a matinee ticket. Now you need to spend half your paycheck just to go, and for shit like Birds of Prey or the MCU.

Yeah, now that you mention it, our city had a $1 theater. That's why it especially pissed me off that she would get annoyingly handsy during an expensive movie.

The local movie theaters got pissed off because so many people were just waiting for the movies to hit the dollar theater. (Most 90s movies were shit, we only remember the good ones.) So the theaters conspired to get the dollar theater shut down.

I don't know who that is, but IMDB says he was in GoldenEye, Mars Attacks, and Congo, and I indeed did see those in the theater. (Though Congo one of those "wait for the $1 theater" movies.)
