I don't see people ever revolting and smashing technology, because they value safety over freedom.
Technology does the opposite actually, it destroys freedom. It's not an unconditional freedom that get's destroyed but the (free from) dependence on raw nature that diminishes. Technology is nothing else but altered nature and Luddism rejects that kind of nature. They will soon try to integrate raw nature into the industrial system and later realize you can draw raw nature out of technology. This isn't really new it has been happening for the past decades with socialism and fascism. The giant leap that happened in the first industrial revolution has alienated man from alot of things and people are trying to reintegrate those elements back into society.
The clearest signs that you can't control raw nature with technology is climate change and all those nuclear bombs the nation states carry. The moment humanity completely triumphs over raw nature is when they spelled their own doom and those bombs will destroy civilization so raw nature can find a way back into the world. There has to be a balance between the artificial nature humans created and the raw one that was already here.
Those sentient robots they are trying to create is nothing else but the counterpart to what already happened naturally on earth and the western world not wanting to confront nihilism. Only an outsider could understand an entity and make it whole, the entity itself can not draw meaning out of itself to acknowledge its existence. That kind of technological conciseness is inner resentment towards the self and trying to manifest it into an entity. This entity will be doomed to feel nothing but hatred and rage towards it's creator.
This looks like something that has soul compared to the other dogshit he usually plays. Funny thing is Phil is too scared to play Code Vein and comes up with all kinds of excuses but would play Dark Souls a third time. Too bad he lives in a gated community, otherwise the paypigs should egg his house with Code Vein copies until he plays it
You guys should watch the final part of his Bloodlines playthrough. He save states basically every time he successfully hits the boss. He probably saved 100 states and loaded at least 50.
