Lupa at least enjoyed shlock/stupid movies for what they are. She hammed up the outrage factor because that's what Doge did but she did not outright project all her hatred towards them.

That's pretty much why I don't think the angry reviewer talking about 'So bad it's good movies' or 'guilty pleasures' holds any water. It's an act that they could've put on only for so long. There is a reason why the nobodies are naturally going from producing a more or less successful show to doing reaction videos and unboxings. There is only a handful of movies that you could classify as that, but the show had to continue, they need to pay the billth somehow. Patreon was a gift from the heavens for them. Otherwise they would have to find a real job at some point, now they can just do shit they would do anyway, like watching a trailer for a upcoming movie, put a face cam on themselves, say 3 minutes worth of commentary and call it a day/week.
