The Smartest Guys in the Room?
I listened to the audiobook read about halfway through before I got bored. Thought I'd just rewatch the movie since even if I don't remember too much I feel like I got more out of it. I'm dumb, sorry.
Kurt Eichanwald put out a book on Enron, and believe it or not people have actually read it.
I forgot about that bit of Kurt lore, that he was an actual published author and one of his books was even made into a movie I'd actually heard of (but never watched naturally.)
And fast forward a decade later and hes showing up on Cucker Tarlson with notebooks full of nothing and hes masturbating to cartoons and buying himself even deeper with bizarre lies about masturbating to tentacle porn with his family.
Just read Stephen King's "The Institute".
It started off pretty interesting but just became an ordinary plot-by-the-numbers story by the end. I wonder if he's even trying anymore.
