It's happened to me twice recently.

The first was in a supermarket parking lot. I was busy doing something when I heard a huge crash. This idiot woman in this giant vehicle had backed into this big pickup truck, putting a huge dent in the bumper. She turned around to look at it, and then just drove off.
It all seemed to happen so fast. I just froze... I'd been in the middle of another task and I couldn't process it fast enough.

I was so pissed off that I didn't have it together to get her plate number, or even remember the vehicle details. (I think it was a white pickup.)

The second was when I was at Walmart and I went to checkout. I was behind this fat woman and I realized that she was one of those people, the ones that hold up the line with a million coupons and try to haggle over every last cent. I quickly moved to a neighboring checkout register.

As I was checking out, I heard the fat lady screaming and yelling at this elderly lady cashier. She was screaming, "I've never been treated so rudely! I want to see your manager! I'm a really nice person and you've gotten me mad!" By this point, several other employees had been called over to deal with fatty.

She finally went to get a manager and was ranting on about the "rude" cashier. I felt so bad for that old woman, slaving away at minimum wage and having to deal with a toxic lardball like that. I wanted to go over there and say something, but I didn't. I knew it would just end up as a screaming match between thunder thighs and myself, and my blood pressure can't take that right now. But I still regret not saying anything because butterball probably made the old lady's shitty life even shittier.

When I was going to a LAN party a few years ago I stopped at a gas station to pick up some drinks and the store employees announced if anyone had seen a cell phone. Everyone kept quiet but I just sorta shrugged and said "No." Turns out that they must of thought that it was a sign of being guilty because I have the fucking police come knocking at my door the next day asking about this lost cell phone. Cop was a fucking hard ass as well saying they are going to look over the camera footage when they should of fucking done that in the first place.

How close were you to being done checking out? Should've laughed loudly when she said she was a really nice person. Then either walk away right then, or if she confronted you, say, "Oh yeah, you're a real Mother Teresa" and walk away. Mocked her without giving her a chance to get into it with you. Might've taken the wind out of her sails a little, at least to realize that the other customers also think she's a huge bitch. No fat jokes though if you want to avoid a confrontation. She probably would've chased you if you commented on her weight. Nothing triggers the tard rage in angry land whales more than a good fat joke.

There's plenty of both for me. But I'll post this for now.
For instance, back in 2014 or 15 I was at Mardi Gras with my folks and there was some drunk (white) guy on a float who gave me a spear and said "here you go you little nigger!"

Now, I'm not the type to get up tight about shit because at this point I don't care what people say, but when that happened I was confused but amused because I've never expected it. After first I didn't feel like saying anything, but I thought it was so funny I had to say something and when I told my dad about it....well...he had a glassy look in his eyes as he just stood there. He said that he'll be right back. It took him hours until he came back. Can't remember exactly what happened to the guy, but we have a good laugh over it now because it was an African joke. Pretty clever.
