She had a cameo in Jesus Bro, and they'd been friendly for years post divorce. She just stopped being in videos because he wouldn't stop yelling over her like the noble male feminist he is.

When Brad first met Jillian she was wearing an anime shirt. She seemed to be into that sort of thing... I think she was a Transformers fan as well. Brad hates anime.
He seemed to be one of these kind of guys that tries to force his own interests on his girlfriend/wife, and gets pissed off when she fails to match up to his expectations. I think she tried to feign an interest in that ancient Z-grade schlock Brad likes as best as she could.
