Re: Non-cape tv show
I'm pretty sure real military does show up in the Captain Burger movies. Other than that, they're apparently yet again ripping off Super Sentai (where military apparently doesn't exist and cops are mostly there to help evacuate areas with monster problems, if they show up at all).

Netflix is getting cucked hard over STD, which has become a huge money pit. They want to drop it, but CBS and Secret Hideout are threatening to slap them with a 200 million dollar cancellation fee if they do.

Old news. This is why the Picard show is on Amazon Prime. STD was such a trainwreck that Netflix actively refuse to take anything from CBS now.

My favourite part about STD is that petition for a Captain Pike spinoff

Didn't he die shortly after the pilot was filmed? I know that's not the only reason they replaced him, but that's why he didn't come back for The Menagerie.

According to his Wikipedia, he just sort of changed his mind about being in Star Trek after the first pilot fell through and decided to concentrate on movies. I'm sure there's more to it, but I can't be bothered taking a look right nowGuest wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2019 2:21 pmDidn't he die shortly after the pilot was filmed? He didn't want to do Star Trek, that's why they replaced him with Bill. He did then later die of a head injury sustained when he fell down the stairs at home.
