I'm so cynical that when I saw the #RealBooksByRealWomen hashtag on my timeline accompanying recommendations of books written by women, I excitedly clicked on it expecting arguments about transphobia. Its wording is very "No trannys allowed".

"REAL WOMEN? WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN???"

But, uh, no.

It's just a peaceful cyber flowerbed of lists and words of praise for books written by biological women, with no drama that I can see.

My guess is that this is because people who care about transphobia don't read.
