What's the point in asking that even? It's not like anyone has great control about when they drop.

This is what Roses must've felt like when her doctor told her her own weight.Auli wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 11:27 amBtw...don't think I wrote about it, but a doctor was talking with me and my mom on the daily rounds they do at the hospital and there was some quiet time, since we were pretty much done.... then he suddenly dropped "Are you AFRAID to DIE!?" With my mom in the room... I quickly checled if she was about to cry, and if she had, I'd punch the doctor right in the fucking face xD

No disrespect, Auli, but if I were as ill as you've been for as long as you've been, I'd tell the doctor that I welcome death, rather than being afraid of it. You'll never be sick again, you'll never be in pain again. There's a peace that comes with death.

I'm going to live as long as I can, I don't find it peaceful.

I like that there's Jim video edits out there where they actually cut out the super chats. I can appreciate that.

Honestly like Keith said I wouldn't really fear death either. All the pain and suffering would be gone. So I can understand where he's coming from by saying that. But it doesn't feel very respectful either for a doctor to just bring it up like that while family is in the room. I can see why Aull would have gone full Saitama over that.

Well, I agree that the way the doctor put it was a bit disrespectful, but he was probably just probing to see if there was anything he could do there, like offer counselling so Auli could work through his shit.

I guess the question really depends on your religion or whatnot, as well.
Anyway, thanks to denial, I'm immortal.

I'm in your bedroom, folding your clothes.

I understand. I only said that cause... I guess I'd want that kind of conversation to be 1 on 1 first before you go springing it on family like that, but that's me. I wouldn't wanna worry them and all.Keith Chegwin wrote: ↑Sat May 25, 2019 7:37 pmWell, I agree that the way the doctor put it was a bit disrespectful, but he was probably just probing to see if there was anything he could do there, like offer counselling so Auli could work through his shit.
But I get why the doctor will just come in and ask straight out while the family is there.
