The Escapist actually lost a lot of subscribers by hiring Blob back
Is there any record of this? I would love to see the actual numbers.

Either shit taste or shit bait. Either way, fuck off.
Sorry bro, but those shitty Japanese and Blaxpoitation movies you fapped to as a kid aren't any good. They weren't even good in their time.
Do you think Japs and blacks are the only people who made films before 1975?
The only movies you watched, yes. Unless you're talking about all that black and white Warner Bros. detective shit with their G-rated gunfights and gay-ass tough guy talk. Getthefuckoutofherewiththat, old man. Your era of movies sucked.

You need to watch more films, kiddo. There's a lot more to pre-1975 cinema than Japs, blacks, and film noir.

Fact: Fury Road DID NOT come out pre-1975.

It's coming and its salvation for all things was foretold centuries prior, though.

I doubt Blob made the site traffic worse than it was. Pitts claims viewership dropped to 5mil before he took over again. The article says that he asked several people to come back but everyone else said no. Blob probably is doing this for free and to spite Gamergate which is why he stayed on after Pitts left.

I doubt Blob has any actual employment and is really just doing freelance work.

Ayy, I just noticed that Blob's must watch pre-1975 films list has Logan's Run on it. Logan's Run came out in 1976. Also, it isn't that good.
A movie about euthanizing the Useless Americans before they get old enough to vote Trump? No wonder why he likes it.
Logan's Run actually helped pave the way for Star Wars, since it proved high concept sci-fi movies could make money. That's its big claim to fame, and probably why he knows about it. It hasn't aged nearly as gracefully as Star Wars.

That's a great catch though. Logan's Run's dystopian society is basically the future Blob wants, but replace people getting offed in Carousel once they reach a certain age with people getting offed if they fail to to pass regular tests based Blob's arbitrary, self serving standards of intelligence, which would probably be based on a combination of shitlib beliefs and Mario lore. Blob is not a fan of IQ tests for obvious reasons, so it would have to be some home-brewed test designed by him instead of anything with even a slight scientific, objective basis.

I can imagine one of Blob's favorite films is Soylent Green. Not only does he want to euthanize the useless but eating them on top of that would be like the cherry on top for him.

The original Wicker Man and Invasion of the Body Snatchers came out pre-1975 they’re the two best horror films ever. Blobs probably never watched either.
