Somewhat accurate. Just that they come in the middle of an actual game, often unexpected and just replace game play mechanics the devs were too lazy or unable to include.

Do any of you faggots have a GBA flashcart? Was thinking of getting one to put in my DS Lite.

I had one years ago, still do but fuck if I know where it is. The one issue I had with it was it used Mini SD cards, and even by the time I got it those were really obscure and hard to find. They never took off and weren't available in decent capacities.

I wouldn't use a GBA flash card in a DS Lite anyway since in the Lite the GBA carts stick out. There are probably DS flash cards that can boot GBA ROMs by now. I don't know for sure since I just emulate everything now.

I've played the ANNO 1800 "open beta". Looks pretty good. Definitely one of the better ones and much better than the previous one, 2205. Some people dislike that it doesn't have any land military units but I've never cared for them anyway.
