Palps is a Force Ghost on Death Star 2. Kylo, after getting ass-raped by an untrained girl yet again, even with a damn TIE FIGHTER, goes to him for guidance. I'm making this up, of course, but it's probably something like that. DS 2 being in here is a way of remaking ROTJ without overtly remaking it, like Reeanne putting Hoth at the end of the movie instead of the beginning, thus SUBVERTING OUR EXPECTATIONS.

That's because there was no internet back in 1980. Fans liked him immediately after Empire and before long, he gets a stupid backstory of being from this race of space Spartans and he totally survived the sarlaac because it couldn't digest his armor.

McDiarmid was at the celebration. I heard Smith isn't even in the movie, and he's not mentioned on the movie's wiki page anymore unlike Dominic Monaghan(who was announced at the same time)
