Chinese Souls : Oni May Cry
Basically chinks are gaining more ground with steam and releasing their non MMO games there since the chink laws about computer entertainment have been getting laxer. Honestly, it reminds me of some PS2 games more than anything but I guess I now know why Unreal Engine 4 was created and pushed to the asian market so much : to actually get the chinks to make free game instead of having the japanese use Epic's shit-for-consoles engines more.
But of course, the real reason I posted it, is because each every other on the planet, plays it like a Souls games and cries about it being hard and unfair.

I'd remark "seriously?" but given Tencent's record it's par for the course at this point. Wake me up when Tencent moneytizes water and air and we have to pay money to drink and breathe.

"It's Wuxia meats Dark Souls!" (probably most journos on this game)
"It's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon meets Dark Souls!" (probably most journos who don't even know what "Wuxia" is)
"It's Jade Empire meets Dark Souls!" (journos who really want to hammer in the fact that God is dead)

Ironically, Jade Empire's combat is extremely simple. It doesn't even come close to the depth of a devil may cry or souls game.
Source: I beat jade empire twice back in my og xboxfag days. Strategy boils down to mashing with one style, then switching and mashing with another. One of the styles restores your mp. Another one inflicts status ailments. Basically, inflict a status ailment like paralyze, then swap to the strongest style that uses mp, spam, then swap to the style that restores mp, repeat.
"It's wuxia meets dark souls!" is what some faggot would say now upon playing Bujingai for the first time.
