Can't recall the last time I watched a streaming service. It's all youtube or dvds for me these days. Hulu was pretty rad for that little while when they had Kurosawa movies and a bunch of other rare japanese films available. Of course, they got rid of THAT shit right quick. I think they had the entire Criterion collection on there. Genuinely good movies on a streaming service? Better not renew that deal. But let's keep putting Bollywood and fake news documentaries on there along with (((original series))). The only show I liked on Amazon was Justified, and only for 3 or so seasons. I lost interest as I always do with long shows that aren't at least as good as The Shield.

You know what's shameful? Nobody ever remastered The Shield. You might ask why it needs that, but go watch an episode and you'll know. The directing and everything is fine but the film stock itself has aged incredibly poorly. Probably a result of low budgets.

Critirion wanted their own streaming service. I have no idea if it's still around.
BTW the Shield was put out on Blu-ray like, two months ago.

Mill Creek sucks but their Blu-rays of old TV shit are usually at least better than the DVDs, barring glitches and errors like sound decyncing on shit like their Miami Vice set.

They didn't make the Blu-Ray really. Sony made it and gave it to Mill Creek to package and distribute because they can't be bothered to do it themselves for some reason.

I decided to finally end my business with Wokeflix so I’ll have less options at the end of the month. One thing I’ll miss is that the UI is a lot better than other streaming services.

You won't miss it. Only reason for Netflix to exist is to fund Trailer Park Boys. Everything else is shit. They don't even have any good westerns or cool old movies. Totally worthless service. I've mooched off a friend's account and still felt ripped off.
