Well he killed off most of them in the first movie. But yeah it does seem to be that they're all hanging out less.

I think as has been said, the others got busy as they got older. After he got re-married, Brian appeared less and less. Same with Irving. Dave and Sarah still showed up occasionally even after the kid. Did they have a second one or am I mis-remembering? That could be why they haven't been around as much.
