What are you playing?

Talk about the life consuming, celibacy inducing hobby that is all the rage these days.

I’m thinking about building a PC and could use some advice. My goal is to play games like Doom (with mods), Rimworld, and other similar low tech stuff. Anyone able to guesstimate how much it’d take for me to get things going?

Edit: Oh I forgot but my steam library has some games like Blood and Dawn of War II. Really looking forward to getting back to both.

Neither of those really have insane requirements right?

But i suggest building someting with a 1080 gpu and 16gb ram minimum.
Will last you for years for gaming at max settings without 4k bullshit.

going below that will mean you will need to replace something in the next 3/4 years.

Though the game confirms I'm still not a true and honest nerd, because I can literally only recognize the main character from Arcana Heart.

(And maybe Saber from Fate/Cuck, but I'd be surprised if there weren't other weeb franchises with blonde sword waifus in a blue dress.)

You don't need a fancy gpu and anything might work, but I personally recommend to spend some extra on power supply, cooling fans and CPU cooler. They make your PC live longer. MUCH longer than DELL PCs. My PC is 8 years old or something but it's still pretty much silent and never had any mechanical issues. Also, be sure to get a motherboard with fan controls support (I think really cheap ones don't have one) so you can regulate how cooling fans work.

Or just get a tablet and dual monitor that shit.
