And also Atari? Western classic arcade games would be trully great if they didn't have such a brutal give-me-more-coins difficulty. Or maybe it's just I suck at them.
FTFY. I never heard about Gekirindan before but it can't be better than Rayforce because it can't.
Overall, Taito arcade games don't always have top quality when it comes to gameplay, but some of their games have clearly A+ best is the business art/music. I can't and will never be able to beat Rayforce, Warrior Blade, Metal Black, Rainbow Gayland, etc but I still like them for that very reason.
Btw EAR is a really good co-op game. It's a shame lots of great arcade co-ops are overlooked and forgotten. You can revive them with Retronarch netplay though.
