Dude, unless Yahtz is making more on the escapist than his videos would get from youtube+patreon, he's ripping himself off. You know he could jew more from his fanbase if he was streaming on twitch once a week, streaming on youtube once a month with superberries + had a patreon + had youtube adbucks.

He doesn't actually need all that stuff. He's a properly published author and he gets other writing work. The way I understand it, ZP is really just way for him to make some pocket money while he pursues his real interests. I also get the sense that he feels a certain loyalty to The Escapist. After all, if nothing else, they did fire their entire staff just to keep him on the payroll

That's good enough for him. What Jack really cares about is fame. He and Lupa really fit together. Both have tried hard to become internet famous, both have been part of very popular groups that helped them greatly in that regard and both are the worst part of that group and more despised than liked.
