You'd think Americans had enough holiday stuff in the last quarter of the year, what with New Year's, Christmas and Thanksgiving.

We don't necessarily want it either (unless we get the day off work). The merchants are the ones propping up all these holidays and then guilting us into having to buy a whole bunch of crap for people.

If we're talking dumb holidays made only to line the jew's pockets, look no further than Valentine's day.

Valentine's Day is awful. People even know that it's basically just a money grubbing holiday and they participate anyway.

I always tell men to get married on Valentines Day. That way you only have to buy your woman 1 gift every year.
The jewelers are the worst. They're always trying to guilt you into buying shit and making women feel like they are owed it.

What do SJWS think about that day? Is it haram because it was designed by the partriarchy, or is it halal because not giving your waifu a present is misogynistic?

(At least it's one of the few things that Glorious Nippon actually improved upon.)

Yeah, it really sucks when you have a holiday that rubs that in your face. But it also sucks when you're with somebody and required to shell out.

That's the joy and wonder of Nihon Valentine. Everyone gets a gift eventually.

(Unless you're a creepy otaku.)

Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (三倍返し, 'triple the return') is used to describe the generally recited rule for men that the return gift should be two to three times the worth of the Valentine's gift.
Christmas is ALSO celebrated as a holiday for lovers. THREE holidays to make "Herbivore men" feel terrible, TWO of which bankrupt men in relationships.
