Double action is fine. For all intents and purposes, a revolver cocked pretty much has a hair trigger. Not exactly, as it takes a tiny bit more pressure but the trigger has zero travel if you have a good revolver. That's what people describe as breaking glass. Zero give until it just snaps. Absolutely fucking wonderful for target shooting and a great feeling overall.
You stand there, being used to shitty pistols, aim, aim better, build up pressure, build up some more, and instead of giving in even a single bit it just snaps and you hurl a .357 magnum right in the middle of the target. That was my first experience with a revolver and I've loved them ever since. First shot, perfect ten, loud noise, hard but not uncomfortable kick. Better than cumming.
