The only thing I miss about the aughts were the celebrity scandals. Whenever a new one came out, my friends and I would try to guess online whether it would end in an Apology, Rehab, or Sex Tape.

If anything the publicists have gotten dumber because fuck. In the old days the scandal sheets were so popular because you wouldn't see anything of the celebrity that they didn't want you to see. Most of the inkling of their personality you'd get from carefully planned media appearances.
Now? Thanks to twatter and other social media, the filter's fucking off. You get their unfiltered opinions and personality through the social media and now most people realise what slimy twats they are. All the publicists can do now is throw their hands up and sigh.
