Dead Horse Interchange

First off, happy New Year. It's past midnight here.
A few observations:
1. In my state the sale of fireworks was allowed, but only to the end customer. So if a store had some left over from last year, they could sell them. Which effectively means no store had any.

2. No fireworks in public places. As far as I have seen, that wasn't enforced.

3. I can see the main connection Highway between my city and every suburb and village to the south of it.
So far, every 31st I have seen a minimum of twenty ambulances over the day and an additional 30 in the two hours after midnight.

4. This year, for now, there was one all day, plus one cop car.

5. Very few fireworks. However, I have just heard the loudest explosion of my life. Somebody obviously made some actual explosive.

6. Yesterday, some kid did the same in Eckernförde, home of SigSauer, and blew himself up.

I like the nice and calm New Years.

I'd be very disappointed if some idiot didn't manage to blow off his hand with a makeshift firecracker.

My family was planning on doing something tonight for new years. But my ex brother-in-law and my nephew both have the coronavirus, so that's been called off. I don't get many fireworks in my ghetto area other than gunshot fire.

I find the lack of ambulances very odd. I had always assumed that moat of those calls were due to drunk idiots hurting themselves in plenty of other ways aside from fireworks.

I'm getting wasted tonight by a fire under the stars man. Happy New Year from the sticks gentlemen. I am complete. You faggots are welcome here when it all goes down.

I'm not much of a drinker but I'll drink some tonight and shitpost. See you lads on the other side.

I would if I could but 1) I already had my shots yesterday, plus I only drink once a week, if at all due to moderation and 2) I gotta go to the plasma center tomorrow.
