The most disappointing realisation I ever had in life is not just that but that what I considered embarrassing High School behaviour carried far too far into adulthood is the norm.

I was 18 or 19 at that point. I was really glad that I wasn't in regular school anymore and working and that in trade school the teachers don't treat you like these wannabe parents.
I was glad to leave all that gay group dynamics bullshit kids engage in behind.

So when I went to an advanced training course with hotel costs paid with everyone there also being my age or older, I was absolutely shocked that they degenerated into summer camp behavioural patterns. With handing out little letters by proxy of "Do you like me? Yes. No. Maybe." and all! I couldnt fucking believe it! I was thoroughly disgusted by this infantile behaviour.

The course went for a week. I stayed in the hotel only for one night, preferring to drive for the other days at my own cost instead.
A bit later Id learn that this children's behaviour won't ever stop for the majority of people. Ever!

I didn't even have a tough time in school. I had friend groups and hobbies, nor was I ever bullied or have bullied anyone. Socially speaking, school was fine for me.

I just never cared for petty group behaviour and unwarranted egos. The Internet was so nice with nobody giving a damn about who these insecure faggots thought they are in their IRL circles and instead just judged people on the dumbass things they say.
