Baizuos support them because they want dem chinabux for their movies and vidja, going so far as to censor themselves in a fit of preemptive obedience.

It's happening right now in HK. Reports of violence. People hauled off to who-knows-where.

China is bad but it’s rich Americans that built it. It isn’t even Communist anymore - just a one party dictatorship/oligarchy. It’s all the wealthy, the bankers, etc - starting with Reagan and continuing to Trump every president on both sides has been complicit. Lowering taxes on the rich, deregulating, sending jobs off, and laughing all the way to the bank. China didn’t build itself, the rich here in America sold us out to build China. I think it’s time the middle class said enough and took back what they stole from us - take it right back out of their pockets.

I think it's time for the middle class to stop shopping at fucking corperate stores and instead support local, independant stores and restauraunts.

That's a nice thought but it will never happen. The supermarket of the future is becoming larger and more corporate, not smaller. That's what Amazon is.

Outsourcing is another thing that would be nice to stop but never will be. It saves too much money in the short term and short term is all corporate CEO types care about. Sustainability is irrelevant to them because they might not even still be working there in 10 years. Maybe not in that industry. All they care about is maximizing short-term returns and outsourcing does this. So many businesses have tossed their quality into the shitter chasing outsourcing. They do it happily. They'd rather throw away their existing, skilled workforce and train up a bunch of people they can pay slave wages. Eventually, the slave wage group will be half-decent (maybe) at the jobs. Never as good as what was replaced, but the company doesn't care lol.

The middle class has no power. The most power we have is to avoid buying shit that corporations want us to. You still can't escape their grip because they own everything, but boycotting with money is the only thing that does work. The global economy outsources all their labor to wage slaves and then imports the products for us to buy. Not buying them is the only way to protest in a capitalist society. That's why all the gayme journo faggots and other idiots always tell people "it's ok to complain, but don't organize boycotts pls! That's mean and unhelpful and problematic!"

Amen, it’s the money stupid! It’s going to take the working class putting aside things like identity politics, guns, abortionfind, immigration, etc. and saying let’s put those things on hold and join together to strip the power from the rich/corporations and rebuild the middle class. Once that’s done then we can hate each other again and figure out those other things - though I’d wager we find more common ground once the rich no longer own the government and use those issues to keep the middle class divided.

The problem isnt deregulation. The problem is cronyism, which lead to sweetheart deals and legislation filled with loopholes.

As for taxes, you switch to consumption instead of income. The rich dont give a shit, because expensive stuff is going to stay prestigious and they're going to spend more to make more. Meanwhile, the poor cant afford anything decent, so they dont pay much.
...and still: Spoony did nothing.
