It's only for city Council but 2 things that stand out. It's a pure blue area. Didn't just vote for Obama. They also voted for Hillary, McAuliffe, blackface Governor, etc. The Dem Incumbents also got twice the votes they did in 2016. The Republican replacements just got way more votes to win. So there is no excuse of a suppressed vote turnout.

TOBE FAIR, that CA district was Red up until 2018, and only held by a Democrat for a few months until she resigned in disgrace.

I'm not thinking national redwave but the democrats have been fucking Virginia up the ass for awhile now so if a blue state is going to flip I think it would be that one. Hillary won it in 2016 but her running mate was a Virginian and the total of 3rd party votes was within her margin of victory.
Virginia coming home would be great because then Trump needs neither Michigan nor Pennsylvania electorally so they can go fuck off.
