Just go and listen to some of them fantasizing about a possible civil war. They honestly think that the military would wage a war against civilians if guns were banned. If that shit really did kick off the majority of the military would side with the right wing, with a sizable portion staying behind to act as saboteurs and spies. Guerrilla warfare would ensue, special forces training civilians as they did in foreign theaters to wreck infrastructure, plant IEDs on bridges and roads, and cut off supplies leaving the left stuck in their urban hellholes to eat themselves alive... this time literally.

1. The current government would basically seize to exist the very moment they declare the war, being forcefully relieved off their positions.
2. Good fucking luck finding a big boss general giving that order instead of removing the president off the office and declaring martial law instead and vote a new government.
3. A good 70% - 80% of soldiers would immediately desert. Well over half of them aren't on their side, even less would be willing to fight against their family and fellow civilians. Turns out that soldiers tend to be patriots.
4. Assuming you'd have 100% of the military just follow orders and go with it, the US military could not win a war against it's own population. Much too large of an area to cover, way too many weapons under civilian control.

Anyone who isn't a retarded shitlib could have said that without a report. You see a lot of them claim that "LOL your 2nd amendment won't protect you against government overreach, you'll be drone striked to death" like the militarily illiterate retards they are. There are more guns than people in the US and guns at the border in Mexico that will be bought on the black market if they need more. Add being outnumbered that much against locals who will know the local terrain better than the military who also won't give the government any food or supplies that they control (and in the US they would since you know, private fucking enterprise) and on that alone you are fucked.
