However, printed media was unique in not being able to be discounted. Unless you just claim it to be damaged. Never happens with magazines, those are just dumped, but books just get a stamp saying "Beschädigt" and suddenly you can discount any book by 90% easy, no matter if it's actually damaged or not.
Aaaaanyway, the block of that shit has been removed earlier this year for e-books specifically, allowing to discount them.
Enough talk about Kraut taxes. I got fucked by them for about 16 years now on a more severe level of your everyday citizen and I still can't properly explain it. Really it just feels like they can take whatever however they feel like it, which is shockingly close to reality.
