Asteroids are very predictable. You can calculate their path for decades in advance, if not more.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 11:59 pmI don't think the meteor was ever a "kill us all" meteor. It was more a "high yield nuke going off where it hits" meteor. Big kaboom but not Earth shattering. It did miss us though.da PAC Nigguh wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:42 pmBTW, what happened to that meteor that was going to kill us all back in April?
Did it get lost, faggot?
And news outlets and idiots like to hype the fuck out of a bigger one getting "close" to Earth. That's usually a "close" on an astronomical scale, and more often than not means "might potentially get as close as 1 million km".
Autism attracts more autism. Sooner or later, an internet nobody will attract the exact kind of fans - and detractors - he deserves.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMNNNNNNN!!!!!!!
That goes for almost everything happening in (popular)science, reporters can't be arsed to NOT hype the fuck out of the mundane and non-dangerous. Wasn't it jewnoo that posted an amazing comic regarding science reporters?VoiceOfReasonPast wrote: ↑Tue Oct 06, 2020 4:09 pmAsteroids are very predictable. If we get mandatory masks at work, I'm gonna sod off to home office. Always new I was destined to eventually stay in my basement forever.
