All the whores are bawwwwwing about trump because it's becoming harder and harder to get there """"""""""services"""""""""" publicized and are pronouncing doom and gloom on plebbit.
SESTA is being taken way to far!! I've lost clients and so much income after this started it's hard to even buy food and gas!! The government doesn't understand that what real sex workers do is all CONSENTUAL!!! This SESTA is absolute crap!
I think mainly most people are going to have to go back to getting regular jobs. I just got one recently, and now I'm just seeing regulars on the side. I don't think the government should force us into this even though I've been looking for a way out for a long time. I have a disability. Until I can that straightened out, holding a job will be difficult. Of course, the government does not take this into consideration. I remember reading an article about women exiting the industry a while back. A lady who was pimped out even said that if you want these girls to leave, you better be prepared to offer them shelter, education and counseling. Otherwise, they are staying with their pimp.
Times are hard so I’m working with meth addicts.

I started escorting around the time the sesta hit. So I rarely get clients. I recently got in contact with what I thought was a agency but was really a bunch of independent women working together. Now I feel like I got myself in a bad situation. I’m drug and alcohol free. I take care of my body like crazy but these women are addicts. I was raised by an addict so I understand no one asks for it. I love the money that she’s helped me bring in recently but I’m not sure how I feel about working with addicts. She’s currently nodding off while smoking a cigarette. Do I stay with her and we both work and both make money? Every client of hers I’ve seen has started contacting me for solo work instead of duos between the two. Should I stay with her and continue using her incall and getting money or should I not risk my heath and safety? Money’s tight in the US right now so part of me wants to risk it but I’m not sure about this.
This is the new lolcow now that the internet nobodies won the net neutrality act (for now)

I find it funny that these sex workers are now using some of the same excuses as e-celebs use, like the old DSP standby of "I make more money doing this and I can't afford to work a normal job because I'll make less."

BTW how many of you feminist cunts were all in favor of prosecuting johns? But now the workers make less money and I hear endless crying.
SESTA received bipartisan support from U.S. senators, the Internet Association, as well as companies such as 21st Century Fox and Oracle, who supported the bill's goal to encourage proactive action against illegal sex trafficking.
It's rare for both parties to agree on anything.
SESTA was co-sponsored by 27 Democratic and Republican senators; early supporters of the bill included members of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which is chaired by Portman and led the aforementioned investigation into Backpage.[12] Representative Mimi Walters stated that websites such as Backpage have become the "storefronts" for the modern-day slave trade and that the FOSTA-SESTA legislation will help prosecutors "crack down on websites that promote sex trafficking" as well as provide recourse for victims.[13] Representative Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) stated her support for the FOSTA-SESTA package, believing that "Congress must act to clarify that Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act was never meant to shield sex traffickers."[13]
Sounds good to me. Child sex trafficking is one of the most shameful aspects of our modern western culture. Large cities such as mine are hotbeds of illegal child sex trafficking and I think it's disgusting.

The way I see it, we either tax and regulate like you aussies or we crack down underage traffickers. I don't think either of the current parties would be in favor of legalization, even though that's the only way these complaining hookers could get what they want. Imagine listening to a drug dealer bitch about how RICO makes it harder for him to make money. No shit.

This would imply that women were, at any point, funny

The big thing here is that the bill is conflating sex work with trafficking, and sex work and sex trafficking aren't the same thing. Since two hookers could get convicted of prostitution and trafficking the other under the bill, there's an implication that pimps would be able to slide in because the women would end up working alone.
There's no real sign that it might reduce trafficking, and obviously sex trafficking is reprehensible, the Midwest is a hotbed for it right now so I hear stories.
I don't know, I don't see sex work as this evil, shit trade. I think people can benefit psychologically and clearly the hookers make bank.
But its clear that Backpage was enabling some shady, scummy shit, which opened the floodgates. And politically, you risk a lot if you're associated with sex trafficking and that's understandable, trafficking is among one of the worst things you can do to a human. Just from what I've read of the bill it sounds like sex work and trafficking are often conflated unnecessarily.

Well you gotta have some system in place to determine who is in the sex trade because they're enslaved vs who "chose" it freely and wants to be in there.

And there is currently no system at all so the same john could very well be fucking both kinds of women in the same night.
