Incredibly most of the contestants still manage to fail.
The men usually fail too. It's even funnier when they run the promo showing how he trained for years for this then he bitches out on the first obstacle.
Wipeout was a better show. Jill Wagner... Sigh.

Over here in Tennessee a woman swore her oath of office with a dinosaur hand puppet.
Have the feeling that if a male tried it instead of the colonel laughing and joking along, he would've immediately punched him in the face.

While I can't stand Hape Kerkeling, that was actually meant to be over the top cheesy and unfunny. It's not even like it's his usual shtick.
The best representation of him would be "Hurz". He did stand up but mostly he got into costume and fooled people. With this one, he went to some super pretentious arts thingy, pretending to be some eastern European, and just made up some really dumb song and can barely keep himself from laughing out loud at the viewership trying to analyse the meaning of it.

He used to do stuff, earn mad money and go into silence for a while. Now, he doesn't do anything anymore. He's much too well known to be able to show up anywhere, even in mask, to pull shit like that off anymore.

Dem art critics. Just imagine the kind of shit they see on a daily basis if they think that was supposed to be serious.
One of his more elaborate pranks involved posing as a fake rap band from Finland to troll a German music channel.
Also did some pranks and skits in drag, where he looked a lot more convincing than a tranny (not that this is surprising or anything).
I think he stopped doing stuff after he published a book about his experiences during a pilgrimage and then watched in horror as a bunch of TV channels started making pilgrimage reality shows starring C-grade nobodies, to the point he said he would've never done the book if he knew how desparate trash TV was for bandwagons to jump onto.
